This page explains the customer information used to process and track a MobiKopa application.
Information you provide
When you apply, MobiKopa records your name, mobile number, optional email, county, town, preferred contact method, phone selection, payment-plan estimate and delivery or pickup preference.
How application data is used
The information is used to save and review your application, initiate a verification-fee payment when one is displayed, update the application timeline and follow up about the next step.
M-Pesa information
MobiKopa does not request or store your M-Pesa PIN. Payment confirmation details such as the payment amount, phone number, Safaricom request identifiers and receipt reference are processed on the server to reconcile the application.
Application tracking
The tracking page requires both the tracking ID and the phone number on the application. The tracking result shows application and plan status without displaying the customer’s email or full phone number.
Storage and access
Application and payment records are stored in the connected MobiKopa database for processing and support. Do not include M-Pesa PINs, passwords or other sensitive credentials in an application or delivery note.
